His approach was best epitomised at the inaugural and highly prestigious London leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour 2014, hosted by the Royal Parks in the highly security sensitive Horse Guards Parade. His planning, crewing, keen attention to logistical detail and leadership ensured that all the desired outcomes for security were achieved, and crucially, made a tangible contribution to the great success of the event for the organisers, SEL.
Jaco is fluent in both English and Afrikaans, and is married to the delightful Lena and blessed with two charming boys, JC and Roddy. Jaco is a keen sportsman to boot possessing a brown belt in Karate, and is a formidable tight head prop and keen supporter of the imperious Springboks.
